This week Kyle and Matthew are joined by comedian and musician Mike Valdes for a chat about ABC's Friday night programing block from the 90's, TGIF. This is a spiritual sequel to our Family Matters episode from years ago. We still find time to riff on Family Matters but we also explore the rest of TGIF's classics. Did Hanging with Mr. Cooper have one of the most underrated theme songs of all time? How many times did Boy Meets World completely change what kind of show it was? And did Salem the taking cat somehow topple the TGIF empire? All these questions and more will be explored.
