This Is Rad!

This week the Rad Crew welcomes return guest Anna Valenzuela (Comedy Central's Roast Battle) and Rad buddy Brian Cox (Return to Castle Wolfenshow) for another animated chat about anime. Anna is a pretty hardcore anime fan, and she and Kyle have had many conversations off-mic about the world of Japanese animation. They chat about the radness of Samurai Champloo and its hyper-stylized approach to historical inaccuracy. Anna tells Burnside to check out Ergo Proxy, describing it as the "Radiohead of anime.” Brian chats about his newfound love of One Punch Man. And we get to hear Producer Natalie squee at the sight of a cabbit from Tenchi Muyo. Plus, it wouldn't be an anime episode without Kyle continuing to ramble about his love for Evangelion, Gundam, and Cowboy Bebop. And what dive into the world of anime would be complete without some talk about anime girl body pillows and the dark and sexy world of hentai? Plus, Anna sells Kyle on giving Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex another chance. Great episode with some great people. See you, rad cowboy... This episode is sponsored by Loot Crate.
